The Walton Chapel Boosters held their monthly meeting on Thursday April 2, 6:00 p.m., at the community center located at 1570 county road 417, Ellsinore, MO. Our meetings are open to the public and everyone is welcome to attend. The meeting was called to order and a financial report given by Kathy Kindrick. The final plans were made for our annual Easter Egg Hunt to be held on Saturday April 11 at 2:00 p.m. Everyone is welcome to attend. Treat bags and snacks will be served. Children up to age 12 are invited to participate in the egg hunt. Prizes will be given in each age group. A report was given on the work done on our well. A new holding tank was installed. Our last singing was on Saturday March 28. A small crowd attended due to several people being sick and the threat of bad weather. We were pleased to have a few singers. Everyone enjoyed the evening and we are looking forward to the next singing. It will be Saturday April 25 at 6:00 p.m. New singers as well as our regulars are always welcome. A date was set for the community center yard sale. It will be June 5 and 6 which is a Friday and Saturday. As usual, our ladies will be making baked goods to sell as some people only come for the baked goods. Our cooks are really good! Anyone wanting to donate items for the sale should contact any Booster member. We were reminded of our Fish Fry on Saturday May 2 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Our next meeting will be Thursday May 7 at 6:00 p.m. For further information, go to www.ellsinore.com/waltonboosters.html
