| East Carter County R-II class of 1984 held their twenty-first class reunion Saturday May 7, 2005 at Bluff Falls in Poplar Bluff, MO. Douglas White (Milwaukee, WI), along with committee members Sandy (Walker) Abrams (West Plains, MO), Tonya Freeze (Ellsinore, MO), Lisa Nunley (Ellsinore, MO), Debbie Reynolds (Ellsinore, MO), and Karen Wunderlich (Poplar Bluff, MO) had a turnout of 39 classmates and spouses. Dinner was catered by Donna Kersey, owner of Weekenders in Dexter, MO. Val Korenak (St. Louis, MO) and Gary Stucker (Kansas City, MO) each spoke to the group with Gary providing the blessing. Karen read a letter that was sent to all the class from Mrs. Thurman, who was unable to attend that evening. Everyone was glad to have heard of the wonderful thoughts and memories she shared with the classmates. Numerous attendees traveled from across country from Jackie Jones who lives in California to Julie Graffius who currently lives in Virginia. The evening was full of excitement from dancing and singing to the adventurous time of Kenny Roark (Ellsinore, MO) jumping into the pool. Thanks Kenny for making the evening more fun!!!!
The reunion committee would like to thank each and everyone for attending and making it the best reunion and experience possible. Without all of them, the evening would not have been possible.
